Milky Way Program
Duration: 3 months (summer)
Experience: Previous Research Experience
The Milky Way program is a 3 month intensive program that allows its members to gain a foundational understanding of the current state of research through a literature review.
Andromeda Program
Duration: 6-9 months
Experience: All levels, from beginners to professionals.
The Andromeda program provides a platform for researchers to establish novel solutions to the most-pressing gaps in the field as unveiled in the Milky Way program.
Mentorship Program
Duration: 3-9 months
Experience: Supervisors must either be PhD students or higher, Advisors must have at least 5 years of professional experience in the field of the relevant topic.
The research supervisor guides the team of researchers with the methodologies and approach to solve the research topic. The research advisor shares insights and feedback for the technical approach and direction of the project.
Review Board
Duration: 6 to 12 months. A longer term is also possible
Experience: Professional 10+ years research experience with multiple publications and contribution to the global research community.
The research supervisor and advisor can choose to be on the review board upon met requirements. The review board members review the abstracts, research proposals and final manuscripts of the teams. The board also conducts progress and final reviews of the teams to evaluate the outcome of the research topic.
