Why limit the limitless?

At Deep Space Initiative (DSI), we’re making space exploration accessible through cutting-edge research, transformative education, and powerful storytelling.

We run global research programs that pair students with mentors to explore frontier space topics, offer online certifiable courses to grow the space workforce, host the Deep Space Chats podcast to amplify diverse voices, and organize events that connect people, ideas, and possibilities across the space sector.

research

We lead global, remote-first research programs that bring together small teams of students, researchers, and mentors to investigate critical topics in space exploration. Each cohort follows a curated syllabus, attends expert-led webinars, and engages in peer-to-peer collaboration, ultimately producing impactful research contributions. Our model fosters mentorship, accessibility, and real-world scientific experience.

Courses

Our online, certifiable courses provide accessible, high-quality education in space science, technology, and research methodology. Designed by experts and tailored for learners at all levels, these asynchronous programs build foundational and advanced skills needed to thrive in the space sector — all from anywhere in the world.

Podcast

“Deep Space Chats” is our official podcast where we spotlight diverse voices in space exploration. Through engaging conversations with astronauts, engineers, researchers, and dreamers, we explore the human side of space and what it takes to break barriers — offering inspiration, insight, and stories that resonate across disciplines.
